Overview: America has become a
pedophileophobic insane asylum. More and more adults
are having their lives ruined everyday by false or exaggerated
allegations of child sexual molestation, oversensitivity as to what
constitutes molestation, and exaggerated claims of harm.
Naturally, no one wants their children to have sexual interaction with
grown adults, but the current hostile climate toward sex crimes has
been mainly due to a hand-full of high profile cases where the child victim
was murdered -- not because of an increase in inappropriate adult-child sexual
interaction
itself. The anger and hatred generated by those few crimes
are being vented upon any and all who have the misfortune of being
convicted of any sex related crime, regardless of how minor it may
actually be. Even men caught urinating in public in one state are
now having to register as sex offenders!
Ironically, the root cause of all this, death at the hands of a pedophile, is one of the most rare
causes of death of children -- less than being killed by lightening.
Fewer than a dozen children a year die at the hands of a sex offender as
compared to 30 or so who are killed by lightening. Furthermore, over 1,000
children die at the hands of their own parents, over 2,000 children
lose their lives due to drunk
drivers, and over 3,000 lose their lives due to firearms. Yet, we do
not see drunk drivers having to endure life-long registration or being
beaten to death in prisons; nor do we see owners of firearms having such
ownership disseminated to neighbors, so children can be warned to not go
in or near such households
Of course, no one ever holds the child or adolescent accountable,
even though it may very well have been the so called victim that
purposefully initiated and encouraged the incident We are, in
fact, often now just teaching those under the age of 18 an easy way to
rip-off the system -- profit for lies at the expense of grown adults who
lose everything.
It is common now that even misdemeanor sex offenders are required to
register as sex offenders for life. A life-long stigma being
attached to a misdemeanor is arguably absurd. Sex offender
registration can devastate the lives of those having to register,
causing needless suffering to the great majority of sex offenders who are of no or little threat.
The absurdity of life-long registration boggles the mind. Are we
to have ninety-year-old men hobbling into police stations for something
they did when they were in their twenties?
This site is not meant to defend sex with children in any way; it is
meant to help bring things under control and counter this modern day
witch hunt and gross hysteria that has engulfed the United States and is
slowly creeping outward throughout the rest of the world.
Common Belief: All sex offenders of
children are de facto pedophiles.
False: Only 2 to 10 percent of child sexual
abuse perpetrators meet the regular criteria for determination of being
a pedophile.
A perpetrator of
child sexual abuse is, despite all medical
definitions, commonly assumed to be a paedophile, and
referred to as such; however, there may be other
motivations for the crime [11]
(such as stress, marital problems, or the unavailability
of an adult partner [25]).
Thus, child sexual abuse alone may or may not be an
indicator that its perpetrator is a paedophile;
most perpetrators of it are in fact not primarily
interested in children. [26]
Those who have committed
sexual crimes against children, but do not meet the
normal diagnosis criteria for paedophilia, are referred
to as
situational, opportunistic, or
regressed offenders, whereas offenders primarily
attracted toward children are called structured,
preferential, or fixated paedophiles, as
their orientation is fixed by the structure of their
personality. It is estimated that only 2 to 10
percent of child sexual abuse perpetrators meet the
regular criteria for paedophilia.

Curing pedophilia is not as
difficult as most claim and few sex offences against children are committed by
actual pedophiles. Consequently, there is no logical
reason why virtually all sex offenders
should have to register and be stigmatized for their
entire lives..
Common Belief: Children rarely
lie.
False: Nothing could be more untrue.
It is far more common that children lie or exaggerate their claims than
give truthful accounts.
"Approximately 7,600 reports of child abuse occur each day and over
7,200 are eventually classified as false allegations."
Common Belief: Sexual desire for children (a
person under the age of 18) is rare and constitutes an abnormality
False: At least 25 % of males find some
children sexually attractive.
"Some studies have concluded
that at least a quarter of all adult men may have some
feelings of sexual arousal in connection with children.[21]
A study by Hall et al. of Kent State University, for
example, found that 32.5% of their sample — consisting
of eighty adult males — exhibited sexual arousal to
heterosexual pedophilic stimuli that equaled or exceeded
their arousal to the adult stimuli.[22]
Freund et al. (1972) remarked that "with males who have
no deviant object preferences, clearly positive sexual
reactions occur to [nude] 6- to 8-year old female
children."[23]
In 1989 Briere and Runtz
conducted a study on 193 male
undergraduate
students concerning paedophilia. Of the sample, 21%
acknowledged sexual attraction to some small children.
While there is certainly a
point where having sexual attraction to children would
have to be considered an illness, certainly not any
sexual attraction is abnormal. Is there a
heterosexual man alive who can claim he has never looked
at or admired a pretty teenage girl in a sexual way?
The fact is, is that a preference for young people is
simply not-socially acceptable and for good
reason, but by and large it does not constitute an
abnormality.
